Adopt-A-Family Christmas Program

DCS co-sponsors this program with Hannibal Courier-Post. Through a committee composed of representatives from area agencies such as DFS, NECAC, Hannibal Housing Authority, and others, approximately 50+ families are selected each year through agency/church referrals only. Available to residents of Marion and Ralls counties who have not been recipients of the program for the last two years. Referrals of needy elderly/disabled are particularly encouraged.

Summer Work Camps

Applications accepted at DCS, with priority for seniors/disabled. Out-of-town church groups, depending on size, age, and skills, help with yard clean up; painting; and various levels of home repair.
