Douglass Community Services Healthy Families Program helps families learn skills to create a stable environment for raising children and to practice behaviors that support a healthy family. This program addresses stress and anger management, communications skills, parenting suggestions, family budgeting, relationship health and connecting families with outside resources.
The Healthy Families Program serves eight counties in Northeast Missouri including: Lewis, Macon, Marion, Monroe, Pike, Ralls, Randolph and Shelby. To be eligible for this program a family must meet low to moderate income guidelines and have a child between the ages of 0-5 years. These services are offered to high school students, married and unmarried couples, as well as persons who are parenting alone.
