At Douglass Community Services Head Start and Early Head Start, we work to help children and families realize their full potential.

DCS Head Start & Early Head Start is in the business of:

• Preparing children to successfully compete with peers of all income levels; who are academically, physically and socially healthy with well-established habits that will continue into adulthood.

• Empowering families to positively impact local communities through their own educational achievement and marketable job skills, and who support children's learning throughout their school career.

• Influencing communities; including business and industries, education, government and religious institutions; to support families through assets building awareness and opportunities.
