OUR CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

The secured funds for the new construction at 711 Grand Ave. will not cover all the building costs.  Douglass is conducting a $250,000 capital campaign.  Capital Campaign Chair Alicia Rollins said, “Douglass Community Services has been positively impacting lives in our community for many years. I am excited to see our community support this campaign which will help us carry out of mission well into the future.”

“There are many ways donors can give to this project,” said Douglass’ Chief Operating Officer Stacey Nicholas.  “We can accept one-time gifts, multi-month pledges, and electronic payments through our website and PayPal.  We can also accept donations of stocks.”

GROUND BREAKING

DAY!

August 15th, 2023

Douglass Community Services (DCS) has broken ground for a new building at 711 Grand Ave. in Hannibal.

The new building will serve as a centralized hub streamlining services while respecting the time constraints of those needing. Community members will be able to receive a number of services for food, clothing, and housing assistance in one location.  The volunteer services will also be located in this new building.

The proposed new facility keeps Douglass in the downtown community where clients can easily access services.
